Gibson County CEO enjoyed a visit from our very own Landon’s dad, Rob Phares today.
Rob has worked for the railroad for the past 24 years! He began as a conductor with CSX and is now an engineer with Squall Creek Southern Railroad.
We learned so much about railroad operations, terminology, and expectations. Rob shared that safety and accountability are everything with the railroad!
Throughout his career, Rob has touched nearly every facet of the railroad. In his early years, he was seldom home. As his career progressed, he now manages others and has more flexibility and time at home.
Thank you, Rob, for sharing your expertise with us, and for encouraging Landon and the entire class.
