Richard Coleman
Richard A. Coleman has spent the past forty plus years in a variety of educational settings. From his early days with the Boy Scouts of America through his years as a College Counselor, Professor, Distance Education Director, and Career and Employer Relations Director, Rick developed college students and matched employers and students for internships and careers.
Rick became a Certified Trainer and Consultant through Ball State University and has spent 25 years with Hopkins Associates, working with companies throughout the Midwest to improve quality, empower employees, and streamline processes. Clients have included a wide variety of Banking, Healthcare, the Tire industry and Religious entities.
Five years ago, Rick began working with high school students as the JAG Specialist at Princeton Community High School. Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) assists students with barriers to graduate from high school and successfully enter college, the workforce, or the military.
Four years ago, Rick also began the dream of bringing CEO to Gibson County. COVID significantly delayed that dream, but the dream ultimately came to fruition in 2022 and Gibson County, IN CEO was launched with Rick as its Facilitator.
Rick holds a Bachelor degree in Pschology and Communication from DePauw University, a Masters in College Student Personnel, with an emphasis on Adult Learners and Counseling from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and has completed all of his Ph.D. except his dissertation in Educational Leadership at Indiana State University. His dissertation topic is "Resilience in African American Male College Students."
Throughout his career, Rick's passion has been developing people at all stages of life. He coaches indivduals, groups, teams, and students to become the best versions of themselves and strives to model that same commitment of growth himself.
