Thank you to Colvin Funeral Home, Jay, and Jay for inviting Gibson County CEO to better understand death and the care of those who pass away, as well as caring for their loved ones.

Jay Macklin is the first female funeral director at Colvin’s, which has been operating for well over a hundred years. Jay took us through the process, from the time the funeral home receives a call through the cemetery visit.

My grandmother, artist Flora Breeden, painted and donated these two paintings to Colvin’s, when my grandfather died in 1984. So very special to visit them again after all these years…

Thank you to everyone at Colvin Funeral Home, for being there when people need them most.
